Hi lovelies!
Today I’m sharing with you all my very simple regimen for keeping your natural hair growing and breakage free while you sleep. A night time routine is very important and goes a long way in keeping your natural hair healthy and long.
Depending on your hair length, and how you wear your hair during the day, your night time regimen will defer from mine.
Firstly, if you wear you hair loosely during the day, I recommend that you re-moisturize and either twist, braid or put your hair in a protective style before bed. This is important because it helps your hair replenish all the moisture that has been lost during wearing your hair free all day.
Secondly, I personally prefer to keep my natural hair in a protective style all week long. This helps me to retain length while leaving my hair unbothered and neat. I keep it moisturized at night time by spraying a hair mist (a liquid moisturizer) all over my hair and even between my protective style to make sure it penetrates properly.
However, if you fall into the category of those with short to medium natural hair and you’re not able to twist your hair before you sleep, I suggest that you spray your hair with a mist and use a satin bonnet instead to go to bed.
I hope these tips help and you are well on your way to having healthy natural hair that you’ve always wanted!
