This post 30 Ideas To Keep You Productive for the Next 30 Days (Work At Home) first appeared on Igbocurls.com
Hi, lovelies!
Over the past few weeks, I have avoided publishing content because of the sensitive nature of what is happening all around us.
But then I realized, how can I encourage and uplift your spirits if I don’t publish or create content?
This is the only way I communicate with you all across the world and at a time where my words may mean much to someone, why do I choose to keep quiet?
That is definitely not right.
Our gifts are given to us by God to share with others and not to hide under a table or rock, so here I am now.
Let’s face it, we don’t know when this pandemic is going to end or when life will return to how it used to be so in the meantime, instead of getting depressed watching the news, checking statistics and making your anxiety levels skyrocket, I suggest the following 30 activities that will keep you productive and keep your mind healthy.
I have also resolved that this period of my life will transform me into greater than I was before. You need to have that resolve too. If you are reading this, you are alive and breathing and that is more than so many loved ones that have left us in this period.
It is time to be kind, compassionate and loving if you were not before.
It is also time to choose Jesus as your Lord and personal Saviour.
If you thought you were in control of your life, or you have time, think again.
If this pandemic teaches you anything, it definitely is we don’t know tomorrow or even what can happen a minute from now.
Also, because something is happening many miles away does not mean you are exempt from it.
The second greatest commandment is to love your neighbour as yourself.
We cannot say we love and not show it.
An act of love can be shown through prayer. For instance, I pray for you all that read and watch my content that it may be beneficial and a blessing to you in some way.
The years of hearing negative stories and assuming it can only happen ‘to them’ are long gone.
What happens in Asia can affect you in Africa. The world has become a lot smaller because we have become a lot more connected. Don’t be fooled.
Take your life seriously and purposefully and make every minute count. Give up excuses and do what you are supposed to do at the right time. Discipline is key.
Death is inevitable but when it does happen, we have to look back and not have a single regret. At least that is what I want.
Whew 😅
I think I had a lot to get off my chest.
Connecting with you all deeply is more important than any stats or numbers. Your growth mentally, spiritually and physically is the goal I seek to attain through the content I create for you.
So as we are not born to live in fear, anxiety or doubt, let us be strengthened through prayer and praise and doing the following in the next 30days.
I guarantee if you do half of what is on this list, your attitude and mindset will change for the better and you will consciously elevate yourself into a higher phase of your life.
10 Ideas for Spiritual Growth
- Start a journal. This is number one because you need it to track your growth. It doesn’t have to be a fancy or well-designed book. Simply look for an unused book you can scribble your thoughts daily. It will do until you can get something fancier.
- Pick up a Bible and meditate. This is number two because I suggest you read your Bible and take notes in your journal. The notes you take will help you gain a better understanding through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Before you read your Bible say a short prayer that God should give you understanding for what you are about to read.
- Listen to Podcasts too. My favorite is by Joel Osteen. It lifts my spirits every time.
- Write your dreams and goals down. Yes, you guessed it, in your journal.
- Listen to Music. The goal is to listen to uplifting music. Not dark, meaningless songs that will put more negative thoughts into your head. Keep everything that will harm your mental and spiritual health far away from you.
- Read a new book. Preferably a spiritual book or a book that will lift your spirits aka put you in a good mood.
- Have deep conversations with your spouse, partner, and children. Get to know them better. Pray with them. Bond with them.
- Send messages or emails to your clients encouraging them in this uncertain time. You never know who may need it.
- Watch movies or content that will help keep your hope and faith strong.
- Practice praying for others.
