“A child in Africa who doesn’t know we exist is depending on us to succeed.”
*This is a Sponsored Post but only genuine brands I have an interest in, get published here.*
I first heard about AsoRock Watches from the founder Benjamin. He spoke with passion about his brand and what they are doing to change the lives of children across Africa so I thought it best that a wider audience needed to hear about it too. Here is a bit of their story.
AsoRock Watches
The mission of AsoRock watches is to manufacture premium quality watches as leverage to build free libraries in rural areas across the African continent.
They have the vision to have various free fully functional schools and free hospitals built in Africa by 2035 with an AsoRock Collective store located at famous shopping districts of the world.
AsoRock Watches stands as Africa’s first affordable luxury watch brand. They believe it is long overdue for Africa to be represented in the luxury market.
The company was founded in 2016 by Ben and Andrew two best friends and recent college graduates and started selling in 2018.
When asked why they started AsoRock Watches, this is what they had to say.
“We sought to cut out the high retail markup of popular name brands. We have been obsessed with watches our entire life and got fed up paying for overpriced name brand watches that only cost a fraction of the price to produce.
We share the same vision and hope to one day become successful entrepreneurs who will eventually build multiple libraries, free hospitals, free education and many more for our people.
However, we know we need funds to make those dreams of uplifting our homeland a reality. So in the summer of 2016, we assembled a team of other like-minded individuals to create a fantastically made watch that we can sell and part of the profit used to achieve the ultimate dream of contributing significantly to changing Africa.”
To celebrate our 1-year anniversary. We are releasing a women’s line called the FirstLady. (This is the reason we are crowdfunding on Kickstarter) Click here to find out more.

This shows we are on the right track to getting Asorock to being that African brand that is highly regarded and in par with the major European brands.
