If you are unfamiliar with today’s title then read on to know what you’ve been missing!
The Hallelujah Challenge first began in 2017 by Nathaniel Bassey a wonderful Christian music minister. I remember I joined on the 10th day of June after hearing so much about it and being tagged in several posts on Instagram.
“It changed my life.”
I’ll share my testimony properly soon so stay subscribed to the blog if you currently aren’t.
Moving forward, the core of the Hallelujah Challenge is to praise God at midnight with every fiber of our being. Using Acts 16:25 as the cornerstone and inspiration that birthed this Hallelujah Challenge, we sing praises, worship and pray for an hour over a number of stipulated days.
As I mentioned earlier, the Hallelujah Challenge takes place at midnight, 0:00 or 12am West African Time except announced otherwise by Nathaniel Bassey via @nathanielblow on Instagram.
He uses Instagram Live as his medium to connect with all of us all over the world and this is his only account that is verified to do so.
Beware of fake accounts
Why midnight you may ask?
Well as I previously mentioned, this Hallelujah Challenge was inspired by Acts 16:25
“And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.”
Acts 16:25-26 KJV

So even when I’m exhausted from the day, I pray to God for Grace and Strength and I make sure to participate with everyone all around the world.
If I do end up sleeping off, Instagram Live Videos last for 24hours before they expire, so I create time during the day to also pray and catch up.
You should be a part of it, even if you’re not a Christian and I bet you, you’ll experience God in a way you never imagined before.
