Have you ever tried blow drying your hair? Perhaps, you’ve thought of it or you do it regularly to stretch your natural hair. Either way, you’ve been wondering how best it is to use heat on your natural hair without damaging it.
In today’s video I show how I blow dry my natural hair ONCE or TWICE a year ONLY using the tension method. I usually do this around my birthday period simply out of curiosity, to know what my hair looks like.
This video was actually shot last year while I was in Bristol, UK and I picked up a heat protectant called TIGI Bed Head Blow-Out Golden Illuminating Shine Cream, from the local Sally’s Beauty Supply Store.
To be honest, I did not know how this product would react to my hair because I’ve only used one type of heat protectant before and that was from Phyto Paris. You can read it here and watch it here.
Anyway, I started by applying TIGI Bed Head Blow-Out Golden Illuminating Shine Cream (the name is so long!) on freshly washed hair. If you’ve been following me for a while you will know that I wash my hair in twists so all I had to do was take down each twist, work it in and use the blow dryer.
I was impressed by the results. The TIGI blow out cream left golden beads on my hair making it shine and it also made my hair feel silky soft! Which is an accomplishment while blow drying natural hair.
