Product Description– Best twisting butter ever! Achieve the ultimate soft fully twist out with a combination of almond milk, almond oil, jojoba, hemp and a drizzle of honey. Your style will be elongated, silky and held in place.
Fragrance- This product smells like ice cream! Don’t smell it when you’re hungry or you may just be tempted to eat it. 😀
My Experience– Sometime in May, I gave my brother a list of products I would like to try and he got me a few including Camille Rose Naturals Almond Jai Twisting Butter. You can imagine how happy I was when I opened the tub and the smell of ice cream hit my nostrils. I couldn’t wait to put it on my hair.
The first style I tried with this product was a twist out and I have to say, it was my first ever twist out that came out well defined without a lot of shrinkage. I tried it a couple more times to remoisturize my protective styles and even on a braid out and it came out soft and well defined. This product is white in colour and very smooth to touch. It completely absorbs into my hair without any flakes and it does not weigh my hair down. The tub is almost finished now and I would definitely buy more when I travel or collect from anyone who would like to give me (who doesn’t like awuf lol).
Cons– I would say the smell can be quite over powering to some, and if you don’t like the smell of ice cream or cake icing don’t buy this product. Also, the price is a bit much for an 8oz tub.
Final thoughts– I liked walking around with hair that smelt like cake icing and the product delivered on its claims so I definitely recommend it.
Have you tried this product? How did it work for your hair?

Reading the ingredients, the second one stuck out like wow, in a twisting product? Makes perfect sense. BMTS is great & common in deep conditioners I think, for super softness. I’m definitely going to get this soon. Walking around smelling like ice cream is not a problem at all lol
Thats true! I didn’t realise. Let me know how it works for your hair when you get it. 🙂
