2 Simple Holiday Hairstyles for Natural Hair

Hi loves!

This festive season brings so much joy and I couldn’t let it pass by without sharing some last minute super simple holiday hairstyles for natural hair.

I found time this morning to take pictures for you all and these two hairstyles should work for both shoulder length hair and long hair. My hair in the pictures is an old twist out. By old, I mean three weeks old covers face). All I did was take it down and massage it throughly with coconut oil and voila! I had soft shiny hair. My mum even thought I had washed my hair when she saw it, haha.   🙂

Both hairstyles took less than five minutes and I hope you find them helpful.

  1. Section the middle part of your hair out.
  2. Pick both sides of your front hair, leaving out your fringe and secure it with a hair tie.
  3. Release the middle part and let it fall to cover your hair tie.
  4. All done!

This hairstyle is super easy and classy as well. Just pull your hair back in a very low bun and bobby pin your ends towards the nape of your hair. Secure your fringe with a booby pin and you’re done!
