In my previous natural hair video, I speak about how wonderful my natural hair reacted 3months postpartum, you can watch it here. Needless to say, I spoke too soon.
I decided to wash my hair and began detangling at about 11pm. I started from the left side of my nape hair and as I mentioned before, my natural hair was suspiciously easy to detangle. At first I did not quite notice how much shed hair had come off because my hair still looked normal to me. It was not until I made progress to other parts of my hair that I looked at the floor.
What in the world was going on? I knew clumps of my hair were literally coming off as I finger combed but I did not expect it to be so much!
Insert *crying face*
All my hair felt like it had gone into resting stage!
Read about hair growth stages here.
Once I was finally done finger detangling the remaining strands left on my head, I put them in twists and tried not to manipulate them unnecessarily.
To be honest, I am still super grateful that I still some hair left on my head so more on how I washed and I am currently caring for my natural hair will be up next week!

Yes! postpartum shedding and the whole 4th trimester in general is so rough. My very best friend went through it for the 2nd time and found these postpartum hair loss vitamins from baby blues she had such good experience taking them and gifted to me and honestly have helped so much. they have biotin and collagen, b12, zinc , vitamin d – more vitamins and just worked so well and quickly to help with the shedding and the thin feeling my hair was having. Definitely recommend: https://babyblues.care/
