If you are not using social media to sell something, you are wasting everybody’s time and data.

Let me explain.

Look, we are at a time and age where people expect the right information when they go on search engines like Google and I think I would be correct to generalise that no one wants to see useless information. 

You do NOT have to sell clothes, shoes or handbags. 

No.

Through what your passions or interests maybe, you can sell your lifestyle, love and even motivation. It entirely depends on you. So when I get messages or comments from people asking me they would like to try blogging but they don’t know what to write about or would rather copy and paste gossip news in order to grow, I get disappointed. 

There is so much you can talk about. Simply find what interests you. Start from your likes. Is it Surfing? Cooking? DIY? Travel?

Just start from somewhere.

Someone out there needs to learn your own tips. Your own way of getting things done, it may be the knowledge that someone has been seeking for a very long time.

So if you decide you like selfies, then sell your lifestyle.

If you decide you like love, then sell your relationship. Yes, I said that because that’s truly what it is. If you feel the way you love is something everyone should feel, then write about it, talk about it and take cute pictures while reminding the world that it’s not always perfect.

Every popular page on Instagram sells something. That is the TRUTH. From makeup looks to love, gossip and hilarious skits and more. 

As long as you know you have something worth showing and talking about that people can genuinely learn from and be inspired by, GO FOR IT. Stick to it and always try to be better as time goes on.
