Short Story
This product does what it claims, but it has a runny consistency that does not suit this packaging and it has to be re-applied frequently to keep my hair moisturised if used alone.
Long Story
Cost me N2,600 from Olori (with delivery it was a total of, N4,950).
Fragrance– A slightly sweet pleasant smell. It reminds me of a Nigerian salon I used to go to when I was a kid.
Packaging– Black Tube with a flip cap and it came sealed.
Product Claim– You’re only a few dabs away from lush, radiant, soft hair. Sweet Ambrosia moisturizes, detangles and defines your tresses. Dry, super thick hair needs this bestselling leave-in conditioner!
Directions– Apply a generous amount to hair when damp or dry to refresh and moisturize. Can be used several times a week or daily. Use before you apply heat (flat ironing, blow drying, etc.)

How my Hair Reacted
The content of this product is a white, light and runny liquid. It softens, moisturises and detangles my curls easily and does not weigh my hair down. However, as previously mentioned, this product is too runny to be in a tube! It should be packaged in a bottle with a pump cap preferably as I had no control of the quantity that kept rushing out of the tube. As a result of this, this 250ml product is almost finished after just three uses.
Furthermore, my hair did not completely feel moisturised especially on freshly washed hair when I used this product alone. (See the results under African Threading). So if you have thick hair like mine, you may have to re-apply this product often to keep your hair moisturised.
Will I buy this product again? If I do, it will not be in this packaging.
Do I recommend? Yes. The product does what it says so I can’t fault that as most of my problems with it came from its packaging.

i got this too in February. I thought it was just me. It’s just too runny to be in a tube. It moisturizes my hair very well but I rarely use because of how it gushes out already without me pressing the tube.
Exactly. That was quite irritating, trying to catch the contents before they flew out of my hands.
Good web site you’ve got here.. It’s difficult to find high-quality
writing like yours these days. I truly appreciate people like you!
